What time is check-in and check-out?
Generally, check-in is from 3pm – 8pm and check-out is before 11am. Please let us know if you’d like to arrive or depart outside these hours and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Is breakfast included?
While we do not offer breakfast as part of our daily rate, our regular staff will be happy to assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation during their regular working hours of 8am – 4pm at no extra charge.
For example, if you let our staff know what you would like for breakfast the next morning, they will go out and do the shopping and have breakfast prepared for you at your preferred time. You would only have to cover the cost of the food and delivery. We find that this method is the best way to meet the culinary satisfaction of our guests while also avoiding food waste.

Are chef services available?
Should you require the services of a chef for dinner service, catering, special meals, or throughout your entire stay, we can help to arrange hiring professional chef services at a reasonable extra charge.
What is your refund policy?
In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
• 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period
• 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period
• 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period
• For no-show: 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited
• No refund will be given if Guest(s) decide to check-out early
The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and we will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

How far is the villa from the beach?
Villa Mata Budha is 1.4km to Seminyak Beach which is a lovely 16 minute walk or a quick motor ride of less than 5 minutes.
Do we need a car to get around?
Our neighborhood, Seminyak, is filled with world class restaurants, fashion boutiques, home decor and jewelry shops that are just a short walk away.
Another easy way to get around is by using the Gojek app to call a ride. It’s like Uber for scooters and they now have cars, taxis, and food delivery service too.
For longer trips around the island, we can help arrange a car and driver for the day to take you anywhere you’d like to go. You may also hire a car and driver hourly via the Grab app.

How can I get from the Airport to the villa?
Villa Mata Budha is located at Jl. Drupadi 1 No.14A, Seminyak, Bali, approximately 11km from Ngurah Rai international Airport, about a 20-40 minute drive depending on traffic.
Airport pickup by private car and driver can be arranged for an extra fee. Please give us at least 24hrs notice.
Airport Taxis (blue color) and private car services are readily available from Ngurah Rai International airport. Look for the Official Airport Taxi Desk in the greeting area near the terminal exit. The fee to Seminyak will be clearly listed on a board or laminated pricelist and is around 255.000 IDR ($16 USD).
Grab and Gojek are also available from the airport ride share lounge near the parking area after exiting the terminal building.

Do you have a baby cot available?
While we do not keep baby equipment onsite, there are many third-party companies in Bali that rent out a full range of baby equipment at daily rates from prams, cots, and car seats to playpens, pool fences and more! A couple of highly rated companies are https://www.balibubs.com/ and https://balibabyhire.com/. We do not earn fees from these companies but would be happy to coordinate with them for deliveries should you choose to hire their equipment.
Can I have a party?

We generally do not allow guests to bring pets to the property.
We have a beautiful, very chill and friendly cat named Mimi who lives onsite, stays outdoors, is looked after by our staff and is not allowed in the bedrooms. Please let us know if you would rather not have Mimi around during your stay and we will make other arrangements for her.
